  1. Download the Framaroot apk and place it on your desktop.
  2. Connect the ZTE Grand Memo N5 to your PC.
  3. Copy and paste the Framaroot apk from your desktop over to your device’s SD card.
  4. Ensure that the Unknown Sources option has been checked in your device’s security settings.
  5. Launch your file explorer from your app drawer ( if you do not have one, you can download ES File Explorer from the Play Store ) and install the Framaroot apk from your SD card.
  6. Open the Framaroot app on your device.
  7. Select install Superuser.
  8. Tap on the Gandalf option from the app.
  9. Wait for a success pop-up to appear on the screen.
  10. Reboot your device.
  11. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted the ZTE Grand Memo N5 V9815.
